Client Responsibilities

Although RHE provides a complete service to our clients to assist them comply with CDM the client is responsible for:

• Providing (or arranging to obtain) reasonable information about the existing site
• Appointing competent persons with adequate resources to fulfil CDM requirements
• Ensuring arrangements are in place for managing and co-ordinating the work of all duty holders
• Ensuring the Construction Phase Plan is adequate to allow work to commence and that arrangements for welfare facility provisions are in place
• Ensuring that the Health and Safety File is maintained for future use on site
